  1. The accompany is METAFONT TrueType fonts for Macintosh, converted from Lin
  2. YawJen's Window version, with his permission.
  3.  
  4. I use TTConverter 1.5 to do the conversion for Macintosh.  Then, use ResEdit
  5. to fine-tune some table-mapping problem.  (See 'Technical Problem.')
  6.  
  7. I only convert CM_Roman Regular, CM_Roman Bold, CM_Text Italic, and CM_Math.
  8.  
  9. The original author Lin YawJen reserves all rights.
  10. These fonts must not be used for any commercial activities.
  11.  
  12. To install the fonts to Mac, de-binhex it (StuffExpander can do this) and
  13. drag the result suitcase onto 'System Folder' Icon.  The system will install it
  14. for you.
  15.  
  16. The remaining (minor) problem is, you have to manually select different font
  17. for different style.  That is, you have to select 'CM_Bold' instead of using
  18. 'CM_Regular and Bold Style'

  34. I had written a program to convert fonts from METAFONT description into 
  35. TrueType for MS-Windows. 
  36. The descriptions came from Knuth 10pt METAFONTs.

  38. The Version before Apr. 26. 1994 is only support platform of CWindows. 
  39. Platform is a triple code preregistered by Apple or Microsoft.
